Previously, Brian was an attorney at a major international law firm where he counseled clients, including AMBA, on various legal matters including commercial disputes, white collar investigations and compliance, and employment.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
Steve Cardinal serves as Executive Chairman of AMBA, and formerly was Chief Executive Officer. Under Steve's guidance, AMBA has greatly expanded its products and services while continuing to put employees, clients, members and customers first.
Before assuming leadership of AMBA, Steve served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Horace Mann, a billion-dollar-plus publicly-traded insurance company. Prior to Horace Mann, he served as Agency Operations Executive for Bank of America, as Regional Distribution Leader for Allstate (where he led 960 agents and drove multimillion-dollar revenue growth in a 5-state sales region, and directed Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction for Allstate’s 950 agencies).
Early in his career, Steve served as an insurance agent for MetLife, where he was recognized as Rookie of the Year and as a Top Producer Award Winner throughout his tenure with the company. He also received the Pinnacle Award, recognizing his Top 5% performance in sales nationwide.
Steve is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and received his MBA from the University of Illinois.
Gordon Chan is the Chief Operating Officer of AMBA. He joined the company in May of 2017 to transform AMBA’s data analytic infrastructure and FP&A capabilities to support the strategic direction of the company with sound, fact-based business decisions. Since then, Gordon has been promoted to COO.
Gordon is a proven leader in the Insurance and Banking / Financial Services industries with over 25 years of progressive experience and responsibilities transforming businesses through developing, implementing, and executing business strategies. Before joining AMBA, he worked for a boutique investment bank, Allstate, Bank of America, and Farmers Insurance. Gordon has a strong reputation for leading and developing teams, cultivating collaborative business relationships, driving continuous improvement processes, managing multiple projects, and leveraging analytics to optimize growth and profits.
Gordon attended the University of Washington, where he completed his undergraduate degree in business and graduated with honors from their MBA program.
Anita Gage is the Chief Transformation Officer of AMBA. She joined the company in August of 2017.
Anita brings over 30 years of insurance industry experience across multiple states and Fortune 500 companies to AMBA. Here, she has a track record of driving cultural change, being an authentic leader, and executing operational efficiency. She has vast experience with Project Office, operations, sales, and employee engagement.
Anita received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Anita is committed to being a lifelong learner who enjoys international travel to learn from and about other cultures.
Mark Krum joined AMBA in February 2018 to lead strategic growth through distribution expansion. Mark has over 30 years of insurance industry experience, including senior carrier positions and consultant to Fortune 500 companies, VC opportunities, and various industry market/product developments. Mark has a BS, Civil Engineering degree from Lawrence Technological University.
Ryan Motola joined AMBA in August 2005 to support the growing direct-to-member marketing channel. This included expanding AMBA’s integrated marketing approach for membership growth and endorsed program sales through direct mail, contact center, and eCommerce. Today, Ryan provides intricate knowledge of many facets of the business while leading AMBA’s direct-to-consumer marketing and association partner strategy. Ryan holds a BA in Finance and Accounting from TCU and an MBA from the University of Illinois.
Craig Rosenbaum serves as the Chief Financial Officer at AMBA. He joined the company in 2023 with an impressive background in finance and a proven track record of success in guiding companies through periods of growth and transformation. As CFO, Craig oversees AMBA’s finance and accounting functions, including the Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Procurement teams. His focus is on growth investments and disciplined efficiency.
Prior to AMBA, Craig served as the Chief Financial Officer at PuppySpot, where he significantly improved the company’s profitability, substantially reduced expenses, and streamlined finance and accounting processes. Prior to this, Craig spent more than a decade at WebMD in various finance roles, as well as several different companies in both finance and marketing positions.
Craig received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, with dual concentrations in Finance and Management.
Nick Taylor is the Chief Executive Officer of AMBA. He joined the company in March of 2017. Nick previously served as President & Chief Operating Officer of AMBA.
Before joining AMBA, Nick spent over 14 years in the insurance and financial services industry. His experience includes leading a variety of successful growth, strategic, sales, and marketing initiatives at Allstate, Bank of America, and Horace Mann Insurance. He has a proven track record of delivering profitable growth, driving operational excellence, and has an innovative approach to products and distribution.
Nick earned his Economics degree from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Illinois. Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their two daughters, Addison and Olivia.
